ADVISORY: Progressives call for an Iran deal
WASHINGTON – For 12 months, the Biden administration has negotiated with the Iranian government for a mutual return to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, or Iran nuclear deal. As the parties near the finish line, opponents of diplomacy on all sides are spurring further conflict and obscuring the deal’s importance to our collective peace and security. In response, Win Without War, MoveOn, NIAC Action, J Street, Daily Kos, Demand Progress, the Friends Committee on National Legislation, the Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft, and Act.tv will bring together grassroots activists, movement leaders, and congressional champions to send a united message to President Biden: re-entering the Iran nuclear deal is popular with people in the United States and vital for peace amidst immense global challenges. We urge him to finish the job and #ReSealTheDeal.
